Permanent Cosmic Damage Jazz Band at Golden Age Beer Co. | May 22 7:00 PM  10:00 PM Golden Age Beer Company337 East 8th AvenueHomestead, PA, 15120United States (map) Antonio Croes (Piano), Chris McGraw (Bass), and David Hanson (Drums) are three of Pittsburgh’s most exciting, young jazz players. This trio has teamed up to create a band called “Permanent Cosmic Damage,” to play some jazz standards and modern selections with a youthful energy and fresh perspective that breathes new life into Pittsburgh’s prolific jazz community. We love lager. We started Golden Age Beer Co. because we are passionate about making clean and crisp lagers that are eminently drinkable. From crisp Northern German and fragrant Italian-style pilsners to luxurious dunkels and Franconian rauchbiers to the easy-drinking, “lawnmower” American lager, we believe that, with their clean, subtle and eminently-drinkable finesse, lagers are the beers that bring people together, that cross divides, and that are both the past and the future of beer.  And so we brought a brewery that makes lager its primary focus to Pittsburgh and, more particularly, to Homestead.  Indeed, we believe that to do anything else would be an injustice to this community’s hard-working, steely heritage and resolve.  When this community rose up in […]

An Evening of AM Gold with Katie Simone at Golden Age Beer Co Friday, May 29, 2026 7:00 PM  10:00 PM Katie Simone is one of Pittsburgh’s most talented vocalist, and she’s putting together a crew of great musicians to play a night of 70s AM Gold. What’s 70s AM Gold you ask? Basically Yacht Rock’s slightly more chill, younger sibling. Think Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne. This is going to be a fun one!   We love lager. We started Golden Age Beer Co. because we are passionate about making clean and crisp lagers that are eminently drinkable. Led by Grammy, Emmy & Ace Award winner John Colby (Music Director ESPN, ESPY’s, NASCAR Awards) and Bev Rohlehr (Persuasions, National Jazz Ensemble, Mel Lewis Orchestra), The Colby’s are a high-energy, no two nights ever the same musical experience.
