All that time, we have asked, what do these toys do when we're not playing with them? "How to Spot Counterfeit Beanie Babies" is a grey market VHS tape released in 1998. The tape itself is auxiliary to a speculative market surrounding Ty's line of Beanie Baby stuffed animals which, for a few short years, would demand price points in the thousands before abruptly cratering in value at the close of the 20th century.
