Snowball Mountain Challenge Vacation Bible School at Messiah Lutheran Church Munhall Families are invited to join Messiah Lutheran Church in Munhall for Snowball Mountain Challenge Vacation Bible School, a week of faith, friendship, fun, and adventure designed for children ages 3 through 12. Taking place from Sunday, June 28 through Thursday, July 2, this year's Vacation Bible School theme, "Snowball Mountain Challenge: Find Your Strength in God," will take children on an exciting journey filled with engaging Bible lessons, music, crafts, games, activities, and opportunities to build friendships while growing in faith. Each evening, children will participate in age-appropriate programming designed to encourage teamwork, confidence, kindness, and spiritual growth in a welcoming and supportive environment. Vacation Bible School continues to be one of the most anticipated summer traditions for many local families, offering a safe and fun place for children to learn, play, and connect with others in the community. Hosted by Rivers of Steel, this unique evening photography experience invites participants to explore the historic Carrie Blast Furnaces during twilight, when fading daylight and industrial architecture create dramatic opportunities for photographers of all skill levels. Attendees will enjoy an open shooting environment with minimal interruption, allowing plenty of time to capture wide industrial landscapes, intricate details, and the unique atmosphere of this National Historic Landmark. While the program is recommended for photographers comfortable working in low-light conditions, both beginners and experienced photographers are welcome.
