Some can’t help but run their mouths.   In this experimental clown/improv workshop, we will explore absurd language as an avenue for discovery. Through clowning games and improvisational exercises that use invented words, dubbing, translation, babbling, and sound effects, we will explore what special kinds of fun can emerge when we turn our legibility down to level zero while keeping our dignity turned up to level 10. How fun can it be to make no sense? All are welcome! No clowning experience required.     Humane Action PA Community Litter Cleanup & Picnic at Homestead Frick Park | July 15 Help make a difference in the Steel Valley during Plastic Free July by joining Humane Action Pennsylvania and Allegheny CleanWays for an evening of community service, environmental stewardship, and neighborhood connection! On Wednesday, July 15, from 5:30–7:30 PM, volunteers will gather at Homestead Frick Park to help remove litter from the park and surrounding streets before enjoying a picnic dinner together! This cleanup is coordinated locally by Steel Valley Accelerator and hosted by Homestead United Presbyterian Church, bringing together community partners committed to keeping the Steel Valley clean, welcoming, and ready for a busy season of neighborhood events. Humane Action Pennsylvania's mission is to unite and empower communities through compassion, service, and advocacy while recognizing the connection between healthy neighborhoods, environmental stewardship, and community well-being. Together with Allegheny CleanWays, these organizations work throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania to reduce litter, address plastic pollution, and encourage long-term community involvement.
