    Princess Lavender's Dream Cabaret at the Glitterbox Theater | Aug 14 Welcome to Princess Lavender's Dream Kink and Leather Cabaret 🐶where we will be showcasing wonderful performances from local kinksters and local leather folks. It's truly my dream to bring together different parts of the community and being able to showcase everyone's inner voyeur. Door time will be at 6:30 and the show will start at 7:00. Please bring your dollars to tip these lovely performers and open your eyes to the wonderful world of leather and Kink. We will also be raffling off wonderful leather pieces and other delights to raise money for the next Iron City Pets of 2027!     Humane Action PA Community Litter Cleanup & Picnic at Homestead Frick Park | July 15 Help make a difference in the Steel Valley during Plastic Free July by joining Humane Action Pennsylvania and Allegheny CleanWays for an evening of community service, environmental stewardship, and neighborhood connection! On Wednesday, July 15, from 5:30–7:30 PM, volunteers will gather at Homestead Frick Park to help remove litter from the park and surrounding streets before enjoying a picnic dinner together! This cleanup is coordinated locally by Steel Valley Accelerator and hosted by Homestead United Presbyterian Church, bringing together community partners committed to keeping the Steel Valley clean, welcoming, and ready for a busy season of neighborhood events. Humane Action Pennsylvania's mission is to unite and empower communities through compassion, service, and advocacy while recognizing the connection between healthy neighborhoods, environmental stewardship, and community well-being. Together with Allegheny CleanWays, these organizations work throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania to reduce litter, address plastic pollution, and encourage long-term community involvement.
