Created in partnership with the team from the Pittsburgh Halloween classic, ScareHouse, be prepared for horror elements, jump scares, and SCARE ACTORS. Walkthrough the Haunted Puppet Theater with advice from your tour guide for 30-45 minutes, and try your best to avoid disturbing any puppets that may have been left behind...

We’re bringing the community together to create a safe, exciting space for children to celebrate Halloween. Saturday, October 25, 2025 1 PM – 3 PM EON Bar & Grill | 106 E 8th Avenue, Homestead, PA

Line-up begins at 2 pm at First Commonwealth Band, Main Street, parade starts at 2:30 pm. Treat bags will be handed out to all children along the parade route. Parade ends at the Munhall VFD #4 where everyone is invited to enjoy a piece pizza, hot dogs, chips and cookies along with a drink! All are welcome to participate and we will be sure to have e little treats for our four legged family member too!! Oct 25, 2025, 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM Her name was Priscilla Comden, but everyone knew her as Tippi. She lived a cool life. As a filmmaker, she adopted the mononym "Ostishenko." She and her husband Larry moved to Pittsburgh in 1967. Inspired by the expanded cinema of Expo '67, the philosophies of Marshall McLuhan, and by the cresting tide of the counterculture and second wave feminism, Tippi and a friend rented a barn in South Park and hosted their own one-night-only multi-projection happening. From then on, she was hooked on making movies. Soon she fell-in with a brand new arts organization that would become Pittsburgh Filmmakers (PFMI.) She served as PFMI's first receptionist, edited the early newsletters, and immersed herself in the work of filmmakers visiting Pittsburgh regularly as part of PFMI and Carnegie Museum of Art exhibition programs.
