In these challenging economic times\, Rainbow Kitchen provides a vital safety net for hungry children\, struggling families\, low-income elderly and disabled individuals\, and people who are homeless\, unemployed\, or among the working poor. And as costs for essential items rise and pandemic-era assistance programs end\, we are serving more and more families every month. \n\nMission Statement\nRainbow Kitchen Community Services is committed to improving the quality of life for low-income families and individuals through programs that address hunger\, child nutrition and supportive services. \nWho We Help\nRainbow Kitchen provides a vital safety net for hungry children\, struggling families\, low-income elderly and disabled individuals\, people who are homeless\, and growing numbers of people who are unemployed or among the working poor. \nHow We Are Supported\nRainbow Kitchen Community Services operates as efficiently as possible\, with the support of volunteers\, food donations\, foundation\, business\, and community service funding\, private contributions\, and an extremely small and dedicated staff.  We also gratefully accept both food and financial donations\, which are tax deductible. Rainbow Kitchen is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization. \n\n\n\nWe are a strong and reliable source of aid for those in need. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAnti-Hunger Programs\n\n\nRainbow Kitchen’s Anti-Hunger Programs provide a source of nutritious supplemental food for low-income individuals and families. \n\nLearn More \n\n\n\n\n\n\nCase Management Assistance\n\n\nCase management assistance is offered to individuals and families on both a short-term and an extended basis. Immediate/crisis assistance and advocacy are provided as needed\, including referral to other social service agencies for additional help. \n\nLearn More \n\n\n\n\n\n\nVision Services\n\n\nRainbow Kitchen works in partnership with the Pennsylvania Vision Foundation and Vision Benefits of America (VBA) to offer uninsured/underinsured and in some instances insured individuals with a free comprehensive vision exam and assistance purchasing glasses. \nLearn More \n\n\n\n\n\n\nGET INVOLVED\n\n\nThere are so many ways you can get involved in the mission of the Rainbow Kitchen.
