However\, that rawness also limits the creature comforts many of us are accustomed to\, like running water. Portable bathrooms\, hand washing stations\, and hand sanitizer are available. Food amenities are not available (with some exceptions\, such as food trucks at festivals).\nPhotography: Photography is permitted. You may also park in the parking lot directly behind the church\, accessible via E Park Way\, when Propel Schools-Homestead is not in session. All of these parking options are free. Thank you to Propel for allowing us to use their parking lot! \nCan adults do the course?\nOf course! Half of our lower course is available to all ages 5 and up\, and the entire upper course is for all ages 10 and up. \nIf I do the upper course\, can I also try the Zip Line?\nYes\, a trip down our 160-foot Zip Line is included in every Soaring Dragons upper course purchase. \nI won’t be doing the course today\, but if I have purchased a ticket for my child\, do I have to pay for a ticket to come in with them to watch?\nIn order to help support our community programming\, a $5 Non-Rider Fee is charged for any adult spectator or other individuals not participating on the challenge course. Children under the age of 5 are not subject to this fee. \nDo I have to be on the course with my child?\nYou do not have to be on the course with your child. Our trained staff will be positioned throughout the upper course and on the ground to assist course participants. For children on the lower course\, you will be able to walk alongside them from the ground as they make their way through the course. \nWhat are the differences between the upper and lower courses?\nFloating Dragons (lower course) consists of 25 elements\, 14 of which are specifically for participants aged 5-9. Win prizes! \nTeams of up to six welcome. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe love lager.\n\n\n\n\nWe started Golden Age Beer Co. because we are passionate about making clean and crisp lagers that are eminently drinkable. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom crisp Northern German and fragrant Italian-style pilsners to luxurious dunkels and Franconian rauchbiers to the easy-drinking\, “lawnmower” American lager\, we believe that\, with their clean\, subtle and eminently-drinkable finesse\, lagers are the beers that bring people together\, that cross divides\, and that are both the past and the future of beer.  And so we brought a brewery that makes lager its primary focus to Pittsburgh and\, more particularly\, to Homestead.  Indeed\, we believe that to do anything else would be an injustice to this community’s hard-working\, steely heritage and resolve.  When this community rose up in 1892 to rebuff a barge full of armed Pinkertons\, it was fueled by Homestead-brewed lager\, while the very brewers who crafted that lager stood in solidarity with their steel-worker brethren on the banks of the Monongahela.  We hope that we can stand in solidarity with this community once more as it continues on its path to a new golden age. \nOur brewhouse is well-equipped to produce the finest lagers.  We are fortunate to brew on a state-of-the-art 15 barrel BrauKon brewing system.  Bavarian-made and designed to manufacture the world’s most precise beer styles\, this system provides our brewing team with the tools it needs to walk the tightrope to make perfect lager\, which is defined nearly as much by its absence of imperfections as it is by its pursuit of perfection.  In what feels like a meeting driven by fate itself\, we were fortunate to find a head brewer who is up to the challenge of working with a system that has a lofty reputation for precision and finesse. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeet Head Brewer Aaron Dahl\nHead Brewer Aaron Dahl joined Golden Age in 2021 to oversee the transition of the brew house and begin working on recipe development.  Aaron comes from Chicago’s Alarmist Brewing\, where he was the head brewer for six years prior to moving to Pittsburgh to head the Golden Age Beer team. In the past several years\, Aaron has earned three medals in the Great American Beer Festival:  in 2018\, the Gold Medal in the Hazy IPA category for “Le Jus;” in 2020\, the Bronze Medal for the Pale Ale category for “Pantsless Pale Ale;” and\, in 2021\, the Bronze Medal in the American Lager category for “Midwest Royalty.” He has dedicated his professional life to beer.  And while he can produce some of the best IPAs and Pale Ales in the country\, over the past several years\, his passion — like ours — has turned towards lagers\, and he is excited to run a brew house that is dedicated to and designed for the same passion. \nGolden Age Beer Co. is located in historic Homestead\, Pennsylvania\, just outside of Pittsburgh. In the past several years\, Aaron has earned three medals in the Great American Beer Festival:  in 2018\, the Gold Medal in the Hazy IPA category for “Le Jus;” in 2020\, the Bronze Medal for the Pale Ale category for “Pantsless Pale Ale;” and\, in 2021\, the Bronze Medal in the American Lager category for “Midwest Royalty.” He has dedicated his professional life to beer.  And while he can produce some of the best IPAs and Pale Ales in the country\, over the past several years\, his passion — like ours — has turned towards lagers\, and he is excited to run a brew house that is dedicated to and designed for the same passion. \nGolden Age Beer Co. is located in historic Homestead\, Pennsylvania\, just outside of Pittsburgh. Some can’t help but run their mouths.   \nIn this experimental clown/improv workshop\, we will explore absurd language as an avenue for discovery. Through clowning games and improvisational exercises that use invented words\, dubbing\, translation\, babbling\, and sound effects\, we will explore what special kinds of fun can emerge when we turn our legibility down to level zero while keeping our dignity turned up to level 10. How fun can it be to make no sense? \nAll are welcome! No clowning experience required. Participants will be given on-the-fly feedback throughout the workshop\, while also being asked to work quickly and embrace moments of uncertainty—so the more ready you are to dive in\, the more we can play\, fail\, and discover together as a group. Come mess around! \nINSTRUCTOR BIO \nDaniel Maseda (he/him) is a performer from Washington\, DC who makes ridiculous work. He is currently touring his debut solo “BE GOOD!” WITH PAULETTE\, which played at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe (★★★★\, Pick of the Fringe) and was awarded the inaugural Fringie for best Clown performance at the 2025 Philadelphia Fringe. Alongside his performance work\, Daniel teaches workshops on clown\, improvisation\, and devising. He is a graduate of École Philippe Gaulier.

Delight in the dirt. Turn our shit into gold. For writing inspiration\, we will look to the compost heap and the garbage can. We consider the trash to be a museum of civilization. \nthis class is for:\nclowns and clown adjacent performers\nwriters who want to “write with the body” or “write on their feet”\nplayful people and curious people of all stripes! Tatarsky experienced fleeting fame as Andy Kaufman’s daughter and used to perform as a mound of dirt. They are currently touring their falling apart bildungsroman about wanting to die\, Sad Boys in Harpy Land\, and their compost clown lecture-performance Dirt Trip. Venues include Abrons Arts Center\, La Mama\, MoMA PS1\, Playwrights Horizons\, The Kitchen\, The Whitney Biennial and many bars and basements. As curatorial fellow at the Poetry Project\, they organized a series on the poetics of rot. Current research interests include magic tricks\, soil remediation\, and pageantry. @tartar.biz \nTatarsky has taught everywhere from universities to abandoned storefronts including at The New School\, The Pig Iron School\, and Celebration Barn. They have given artist talks and lectures around the US and Canada at illustrious institutions including Harvard\, MIT\, The Canadian Centre for Architecture\, and The Clark Art Institute.
